those tail lights look very odd. :S i think they would ruin your car chris. I think it would look nicer with 8v light with the reverse etc tinted red and the side orange left. it would be loads cheaper and easier to find a set and then if you never liked them nothing lost nothing gained. rather than doing all your searching etc then to find you dont like the jap spec ones.

The lights aren't too bad...i dunno weather or get 8v or 16v rear lights,

think they could both work mate. the 8v ones with the red on the bottom right could really work i think if they were both red n orange. the black ones could be a risk but u might get away with it. :)

Oh i see, well i was lookin at a set of either 8v or 16v lights really because of the big orange indicator band

Cos as you can see i already have euro spec mk5 polo rear lights (no reverse light)

Say whatever you like, but some people are taking it well to serious, if you look up the definition of JDM you understand its been stated as a JDM polo....

It seems like you can't even have a laugh when modifyin' you car because if you dont follow the trend you will not fit in!!

Like i said thats your view, and to be honest its my car not theres, if i wanted a civic i would buy one, which i clearly haven't

It's a jdm style polo which is what it is, obviously the die hard jdm enthusiasts aren't gonna agree because it isn't a jap car.

Dont like the orang indi's on the side shot but look awesome from the front?! Maybe tint the fron standard ones smoked and see how it looks, or get some spares and do it.

They arrived complete with bulb holders, bulbs and brand new rubber seals, and had to be sent in from Germany as VW UK don't hold them in stock (I don't think they would expect anyone to actually want to order them!!).

Your car and Stanton's "time attack" mk4 Golf (over on Edition) are the inspiration behind my JDM-flavoured winter remix! I've popped on a pair of late '90s Passat orange side repeaters and have some Subaru bronze alloys to fit as well, if I choose...

Cheers, Stanton is a very good friend of mine, i love his mk4 golf its something else, especially watchin it in launch control mode... :nod: just a shame that he has got the car up for sale was gunna get the BRIDE seats for the polo but don't think i would be able to fit them in....

It's all about the JDM feel, bring on the Haters!!! haha :p
