swap for my polo? its in this for sale thread if you want to look mate, cheers

as stated I'm not interested in swapping the car, its for sale

thanks

This seems to be alot for what is a 1.0 fox with a g40 engine dropped in.

cheers

A G40 engine/gearbox/loom, charger etc not in a car will always make 1k so asking a little more for one you can actually see/here running doesnt seem that bad.

In a very solid mot'd taxed car you can actually insure and drive, slot of people are missing the point. Making out it's a black sheep cos it hasn't got rose jointed track control arms, like u can't just go buy em from the shop!

erm you cant.

but still this isnt a bad price at all. those bits that arent on it dont make all that much difference!

good luck, looks tidy

i though you could, maybe I'm wrong, sum1 else told me you can get these solid bushes which make it better than these joint things anyway? i have no idea if this is true? either way what you see is what you get - at the price you see...

thanks

Bad timing, this is the sort of thing we are going to be after into next year.

^^^ Tav has it spot on - next year!!!!

how long has it been running on the 1.0ltr pump for that could easily run lean and melt a piston could it not?

actually its been insured for a day to drive to the mot station, been sittin on my drive ever since. car drives fine, and the g40 pump is in the boot should the new owner wish to change. I've had a new drive done at home and am now not allowed to work on cars on there anymore, hence the reason why the suspension and bits haven't been swapped over.

and for your and any potential buyers information, it wasnt runnning lean when it passed its mot otherwise it wouldnt of passed.

it would pass with it running lean, just wouldnt pass running rich... the emmisions would be too high (like the choke being on)

on another note... got any pics of the sills and jacking points.? and possibly the underneath rear i.e spare wheel area?

no i haven't got any pics but i can assure you this is a very solid shell, there is no rust on any area of the sills, it all looks mostly red as well as under the rear arches etc..

That's an absolute steal  , you could'nt build a car like this for a grand.

I PMed you about this so you know id be tempted to buy this but i need to see whats going on with my money... but i cant believe this hasnt gone yet?

£1000, I hope it's still for sale in a few months time. For your sake though I hope someone snaps it up for you.

wow such a shame i offered £1150 2 weeks ago! damn
