Lenso BSX rims

Featured Replies

keskin also make some pretty raw fake splits, trust me! Not a fan of those lenso's...to common and I bet the build qaulity is rubbish! dont like this whole scene ting either, 'bbs or else'.....if they are nice wheels, they are nice wheels; split or not split!

going slightly off topic but still hanging in there a little... what the fuck is going on with RSL cult prices atm? i've seen a couple of second hand sets up for 600+ recently

There are plenty of nice fake splits around imho.

For example, Zender Sports, Ultralite Extremes (which I run) Keskin do a few sets.

As for this Lenso business, I definitely understand where some people are coming from with the loss of value etc etc. and it is very easy to tell them apart from real BBS. Which is why I stick to, if you want the BBS look, buy BBS as opposed to the Lenso crap.

keskins may be fake splits, but on the whole you can identify them as keskins cos they do some nice designs. lenso's are just crap knock off's. suprised they didnt call em bss!

To be fair though, Keskins quality ain't the best either. They make a nicer design of wheels but the quality ain't the best.

yeh keskins suffer from really bad laquer peel as much as the lenso's do, and the centre caps disintergrate after a few months

my old keskins were shocking

the keskins i had were quite good. mind you i only ran em for couple months  . wasnt winter either. that probably kills em

Even after you clean off all the lacquer and polish the lips they seem to suffer from staining quite bad. Like if you run them for a week without cleaning them you need to repolish them. Where as other wheels you'd just need to get some elbow grease and metal polish on it.

i refurbed some keskins and the dishes were like butter....didnt run them but I can imagine they kurb pretty badly!! Plus the lacquer peel was pretty bad!!

everone keeps on going about kerbing lensos, keskin etc, at the end of the day if you kerb any wheel its not guna do it any good, just because a wheel has bbs on it doesnt mean its immune to the kirb. brands do make a certain difference to quality as we allo know. my standard polo gti wheels wich are bbs suffer laquer peel and will be fucked if i kerbed them, doesnt make any difference the kerb will fuck any wheel. was guna get some of these lenso bsx too glad i aint now :-(

correct me if I'm wrong, but my mate who had, i think raindox dish's on his RM's tried to crubed them and nothing happened a tiny scuff which wet n dry will sort out.

the dish's are a lotof dolla though.

at the end of the day : you get what you pay for!

Well it's true, cheap fake splits curb a lot easier, i mean just look at this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hrxXCXdcqVs Try doing that to a lenso and see how it ends up pal! ;)

That was one of the best wheel tests I have ever seen

FAKE SPLITS CAN FUCK OFF

only one sentence to remember

I slid straight into a kerb in the winter, scuffed up one of my front Steffans.

It was a decent scuff but no bending or anything, pretty tough alloy to be fair..

dont wuote me on this as I'm sure someone will correct me anyway, but wont they just be moulded like that??

they come out,

I'm getting my ones replaced by lenso/rimstyles as my chromes peeling insanely round the bolts and will probally sell the set BN when i get them back or i might keep them as i was running them during winter, they might be ok for summer use, failing that I'm going to refurb them

lenso's are just shit imo, fake splits i have no problem with, they just remind me of halfords specials i wont never buy a car that had them on

Radinox dishes are jus stainless dishes, the name 'radinox' is jus a trademark of schmit wheels

NO FAKE SPLITS!!!

and stainless dishes ftw

Edited by Snail Power

There are different grades of stainless steel, Radinox's are very high grade hence their better than normal quality.
