i love my wheels so do a lot of other people, but i see why so much hate is on lenso's, they annoy me too, just looking at them.

some fake splits look mad just not lenso's, well thats my view.

when people say FAKE SPLITS CAN F*** OFF, most of them dont even own splits

not evrybody can afford bbs and schmidts etc (Scene wheels) they look like bbs but cost less than half as much. makes sense in my book. infact I'm going to roll on em for a while and i dont care what people think I'm gettin some cheap second hand till i can afford the whels dreams aremade of. not bbs or schmidt!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've got no problem with fake split rims, in fact they wind me up less than people quoting Wheel Whores slogans as gospel.

I reckon a lot of fake split rims would look better if they sacked off the bolts tbh. So the same, but not pretending to be a split rim.

Besides, not everyone wants to spend a fortune on a set of wheels. So what if they're not up to really close examination, unless you're building a show car does it really matter? Those Lensos look enough like BBS that, for the sake of the cash saved, most people won't give a shit. A lot of people at the cheaper end of the modded market will buy a car, drop it on some rims and flog it a couple of years later. If the wheels are tatty, it's not a big deal.

Check out the state of most BBS RX2s by the way, now there's a wheel engineered to last.

Thing is, it's all very well picking faults and saying Schmidts last better but Schmidts cost fucking serious cash. If you're worried about kerbing your wheels maybe you should stick to steelies and hubcaps.

there was a faulty batch of bsx lensos, were they put the studs in they were pushed in to hard and cracked the laquer HENCE THE PEEL A FEW MONTHS ON. I've just bought my own set of bsx black, the reason being my bbs rx2 had these problems

1. laquer peel (just like some lensos)

2. the bolts were starting to rust after the refurbs

dont get me rong I'm not saying bbs arnt good because they do some shit hot wheels, but the way i see it is its my car therefore ill put what wheels i like on it, i will rather spend 500 on some lenso bsx than 800 on some bbs. pepole saying if you kerb them there fucked is true but i must say that happens with any wheel, i sell wheels refurbs were i work and the best of the best come in like a bentley gt front passenger wheel is fucked because it got kerbed, your all making it sound like if he had a bbs centre cap then it would of smashed the kerb, its bollocks fake splits dont make any diff to me and to alot of pepole i know hence why I've just bought some bsx. i couldnt give two shits weather FAKE SPLITS CAN FUCKOFF the point is every wheel can get marked by the kirb weather its reall split or fake split............ I'm still guna get some new parts for the old bbs and spend some time on them and yes they are a nice wheel. but to me ronal ls and things like that just dont look like the lenso. at the end of the day its personal Opinon :-)

Mate I don't understand why you have bought LENSO BSX wheels?

They are proper skinny, rubbish offsets, and you'll just get annoyed at yourself when you see someone else with some BBS RS wheels, because you know that you have the fake version of them, not even a replica.

And what's with all this stuff about BBS wheels don't get kerbed?

It's because they are discontinued. No where sells them new anymore, and even bits like the caps and rivets are proving impossible to find!

i see your point but its not too much money, i only needed the tires but mt standard wheels are looking a lil old now (still guna refurb them) but I'm busy an do alot of driving so cant spend my days off in the shed making them look good, i would pay for it to be done but i know i can do it my self hence the lensos on there for a few months whilst i piss around with my old wheels. same with the bbs wheels wich you can customize, i just couldnt find any new ones, plus going back to the being busy all the time i aint got the time to do it all, so thought fuck it i need tires and wheels so got the lensos wich to be honest seem fine and i sell loads of alloys were i work and the lensos aint that bad, but bbs for the future when some come up, maybe polo show? ill have to see :-)

you can get rms for around 500, all the chavs with there saxos whohave gone "euro" have lensos, even more degrading coupled with there poor quality

Its up to people what they want to do but most people say they buy BSX instead of BBS because they can't afford BBS when in fact they can.

Put it this way, if you could buy a genuine Tag Heuer watch for £550 or a replica for £500 you would never buy the replica for £500 because it doesn't make any sense. It has no real value and the quality will be shoddy.

Thats the point I'm trying to make. You don't have to buy genuine splits and not all fake splits are bad but BSX's are just a shite replica with a premium price tag.
