I've just read the whole of this thread and I really do find this quite pathetic that people want to argue about lenso bsx and bbs wheels!!

What is this Internet site? A FORUM! Now that means that people will always have different opinions and that's fair enough, but to get to the point where people are sayin some wheels make them "feel sick" now I think that's a sad thing!!!'

Not every person on this forum can afford the £1000 wheels that some can? So does this mean their cars look shit just because they can't splash out on a certain type of wheel???

No is the answer. I'm 18 and have a gti and unlike some people I'm on a bit of a budget. I have lenso bsx's and not one person has said my wheels are sick or discusting?

The thing is you CAN buy BBS splits for the same price as a set of new lenso's, it just takes time for the right set to crop up. At that price they made need a refurb i'll grant you that, but if you do it yourself then it isn't going to cost much at all.

An sorry.. but how on earth can you afford to buy/ insure/ run a polo GTI at 18 on a budget?! I struggle with my 1.3 mk3....

I just think its funny that no matter how many times you say Lensos are the same or near enough the same price as BBS people still post after saying they can't afford BBS. Just shows that people like to rant without actually reading stuff before hand.

In my opinion if you can't afford the real deal buy something else thats nice. I've just never understood the idea of buying fakes/replicas.

I recently sold a set of RM's for £450 just because they had a bent dish.

Pennys for a new 0.5 dish, tyre removal and fitting £5, tube of silicon £2

They will never lose any money, some fake splits are cool but lenso's lack the quality of bbs's

when people say FAKE SPLITS CAN F*** OFF, most of them dont even own splits

At the end of the day Jacks got those wheels and hes gonna be happy with them. other people have them and are happy with them

if something happens to them thats something the owner is gonna have to deal with and isnt gonna effect any of you.

fair enough trying to warn someone about the bad points is a good thing but some things have gone a bit to far

in Jacks case hes given other wheels a chance hes looked at suggestions and thru magazines and searched the web.

but the Lensos are the ones he likes. the ones that stand out to him.

yeah you can buy some BBS for a little bit more. but whats the point if you dont like them?

lenos aint trying to be a replica tho, thats why there good. there is a company called replica who make well REPLICAS lol, i saw some rm's for sale on ebay without tires for £111.11 as i ent got that i got the lensos for 500 with tires wich are my choice, if fake splits make you sick then tuff shit! dont look at my car lol its like summit off ugly betty with the tarts going on about branded stuff lol like the old fake fur war!!! lenso bsx are nice and suit me and my pocket down to the ground, its not about what youve got on your car or how much you spend sometimes its all just about going for summit that little bit different. :-)

That is true actually, they're not real BBS replicas as Lenso have fitted a centre cap which looks more like an aluminium tax disc holder:

lenso are making replicas, they only changed the cap to avoid the copywrite, other replica wheels have small changes to the design
