got more style for half the price! and its probly as slow as urs anyway, plus i wouldnt blow 3.5k on a pathetic 125bhp "GTi", i though it would be clear that if you wanted a small VAG quality hatch the ibiza cupra 1.8t would be the obvious choice, power to back up the badge

insurance....Only reason i didnt buy a Fabia vrs is cos its 1800 to insure when the GTi was just 750 for the year. Cant say a seat will be cheaper cos of the badge...there not like they used to be!

MPG, what, average of about 28mpg from a cupra...45 from my gti.

Yes, looks very nice. If you could insure a VR6 though, the running costs really aren't that much worse... MPG on all the corrados is equally bad, obviously driver dependent though. Most of the valvers drink nearly as much as a VR6 - i know mine did in the lighter golf, but that was 170bhp. The G60's not good on it either

couldnt insure a vr at 19 unfortunatly, the old mk2 gti was a learning curve, dont buy a car with 197k on the shell!
