MY MK1 G60 conversion - job lot

Featured Replies

Due to having lack of time & space and too many other projects (MK2-VR6T) on the go at the moment i need to sell my MK1 G60 project, which i'm sure i will regret.

**** Note: I have all the body panels ****

I've had the car for almost 4 years, and have been stock piling parts for the conversion which have totalled to at least £6k's worth. Including hard to get hold of south african parts *****Including a citi golf dash conversion) I basically have pretty much everthing needed bar a few minor parts to complete the project.......

Here is most of the bits for the MK1 - there is more tho.

NOTE: Anyone coming to buy this will need a large van / trailer to take away !!!

It would be an ideal buy for a body/paint or interior retrimmer.........as these are the only 2 major things the car has to have done.

The G60 donor car, was Dubmeisters Demo Car when the TH mono's 1st come out. I still have some of the history for the car..........but if you want to know anymore about it, get in contact with the old owner @ dubmeister, cause aparantley he spent a fortune on the engine - which i found out from someone after buying it. Previous owner didn't really know much about the car......i bought the car as damaged/written off, the previous owner had smash on passenger corner and bent the chassis up.

The Base car is a 1983 Y-reg Mk1 1.1c (non sunroof - stronger) - i have the V5 document also.

The shell itself is in very good condition for the year, there is rust in usual places:

Front corner of sills, r/arches, f/wing arch, back panel (have all the repair panels + new Genuine wings).......small surface rust here and there. The underneath is pretty solid, small amounts of surface rust again but will come off when doing underbody restoration when removing underseal with wire wheel - was going to get rotisary and do it properley (can buy kits on ebay for £160)

The vehicle has been dismantled into shell form, but all parts bolts/nuts etc have been bagged and marked.

Here is a photochop, of what i wanted it to look like: (shout out to alex with his original photo of his top MK1 to make this chop possible :) )

I'm looking for £4500 for the lot - hell its worth that in just parts alone, but i don't have time to list and sell seperately, so would prefer it went as a whole job lot and see the car being turned into something i visioned.

Please PM me with any questions..................and please no silly offers, or P/X's.......want the cash to put towards the other projects
