Front Springs FINALLY On - New Pics

Featured Replies

Hello allll :).

finally got round to doing my springs with my dad today, and what a laugh -_-.

20 years worth of rust and shit, getting all the parts off and back on was a joke, we done this on my drive with lame tools.

the centre driveshaft nut was a JOKE, likewise with the anti-roll bar.

the suspension on a car is not designed to come off ><, its all just so awkward, but finally got it done, took it for a slight drive, but couldn't go that far cause its un-taxed, I'm not insured or licensed ><.

thats why we just cut the springs in situe on mine,i had springs ready to go on!

looks shit hot mate, mines avin a make over primer grey or a dark grey much the same as yours but different styling 8-);)

P.s. Rimtape, or no rimtape?

Edited by Prox

Keep the rimtape dude it looks cool ..

The car is looking alot better now i can clearly see your buzzing about it and rightly so a tidy little bready ..

I would also echo others and say iff not remove the cold air feed at least spray satin black ..

I would go for a single light grill personally

Keep up the hard work and get your ass ito gear passing your test so you can pimp around in it ..

pictures dont work for me mate!

I'm thinkin single light grille with blue tape top and bottom of the grille like the red tape on the gti ;)

I'm a fan of it now, looks mint lowered, how ever id keep the 4 lamp grill and remove tht silly intake feed lol

id say ill keep a look out 4 in in bath when I'm next down at the G/fs Uni Place but u aint motoring yet :p

i like the intake pipe but would do the same at the other side. looks a bit odd with 3 lights

It would look even worse with two cold air feeds, looks bad enough with one.

get a debadged mk1 golf grille and trim it down to fit your car. That would be sick

EDIT: Single lamp grill!

sounds difficult ><

anyone done it before?

Looks cool in that colour, never seen one before tbh. Must be quite rare or had a respray?

You should get a single lamp grill and put it on straight! lol, and get a straight bumper for the front and lose the chrome trims on both bumpers. would look sweet(er) then imo.
