We are 2 weeks away from the close date of August 30th for your final numbers for Knockhill

We just want to say thanks for your support and hope you have a great day out

Thye latest on costs are as follows

If you are a Paid Member of SVAG then make sure you drive your own car to the show. You will get in for free

Last chance to pay for SVAG membership that will be accepted for the event is 30th August link to how to pay.

What we can offer the club stands is a chance to sponsor a trophy for £40 at the show and for that we will get 6 people in for free + the chance for 2 extra as traders on the day. So that would be up to 8 people for free getting in. We have got 5 trophies left to cover for the event and it will be on a first come first served basis. If more than 5 of the clubs want to sponsor a prize then we will get the same deal for your club and the £40 will go to Rachael House directly You will get promoted on the site, the program and get the chance to pick the best car in your catagory as well. also hand over the prize to the winner.

If you are not a Paid Member of SVAG or dont want to sponsor a catagory then the cost will be £10 on the day, Under 8's free 8s/16s £5, Or if you book in advance with this link it will cost £8. and £4 see link

These costs go to Knockhill and we cant get a better deal on this, Trust me we tried.

We would appreicate a confirmed number ASAP from each of you so that we can get the trophies engraved etc if you are sponsoring a trophy. Also to start allocating the space needed for each club on the day

The other thing is timing, We are going to be looking for the club stands and traders to be there earlier than the normal punters on the day. So looking at getting you all in from 8.30am on the day and then letting the public in from 9.30am

If that presents a problem to you then let us know ASAP again so we can organise your stand with the minimum of movement on the day

We will have a PA on the day and will be walking around and inviting people to speak about their club and the cars/people on it.

Lastly SVAG will be judging the "Best Club Display" we will leave it up to you on how you want to win this. The most creative will certainly catch our eyes and obviously the stand who is having the most fun on the day

So thats the 2 weeks to go update, Will answer any questions you may have just ping them to us.

I'd be careful with that Andy.

I bought a scrapper mk4 valver with a whining gearbox. It had only just started when I bought it. Only took 50 miles for gears to start going and for it to become undrivable.

Its fine - just changed the gearbox oil and the whine has gone away - for all of 50 miles now its back again! If it fucks up i'd love to watch them try and get the 16v on the back of an RAC truck!

am up for meeting folk on route am leavin from falkland not sure what time but more than happy to change route to accomodate so if the fife boys want to put up where and wen al join in :-D al not be on the stand wi the doc mobile tho so al prob be aiming for tenish

Not sure whats happening yet - Joanna is now working next Sunday which screws things up for me - unless I bring the kids again! No biggie. But they will probably get board quick and Knockhill isnt exactly the warmest place on the planet!
