oo good question, I'm almost certain i took the little shelf out and cut the rear off so the cupholders would go all the way through,

then took the metal spring bits off both ends of the cupholder unit

stuck it in the shelf (is quite a snug fit) then rolled up balls of carpet tape lol so it wouldnt fall out when i put a drink in it... so far I've had a 1.5 litre bottle of evian in there no problems

be warned though if u are gna put this in and use while driving u might wna stick to 2nd and 4th gear

this looks great! i am normally opposed to 16v bumpers on 8vs but i think theyd suit it more and i think some polo gti side skirts or the ones that are deeper and smooth would look great to tie it all together

hasnt got electric windows or an immobiliser :)
