lol, i'm not dissing the project, but why hasn't he widened it properly? rather than just bolting on massive spacers that'll just chew wheel bearings and stub axles. What's the point in a project CAR if you can't drive it... it's as much use as a barbed wire vagina.

Its the bondo culture though isnt it, these people have been doing it for years. Anything that dosent look right can be solved with a trowel, a bucket of gobbo, and a grinder to shape it when its set. Repeat until done.

The spacers arent going to shear off unless he hits a kerb or somthing but you are right saying it wont work. Surely when he turns one wheel is going to idiot forward into the arch, and the other one will idiot backwards into the arch. The radius that the wheels pivot around will be massive.

I've even drawn a picture to show the all important wheel radius pivot, it will not work, it is actually impossible

When they unlock it I am registering and posting your excellent diagram up. See how long it takes them to spot 'c*nt spacers' in there.

Bear in mind that in your diagram it is without widening the arch. How about adjusting it to show a 3rd stage when the arches are on??? He will be in a world of pain when he realises that wont work.

I've altered the picture to now show the steering coverage, its quite simple to visualise and understand, go outside and turn your wheel on full lock, and then imagine another wheel stuck on top of it

hey there the spacers would work on the bk cause people who have the mr2 conversions to ferrari's (wankers sorry but 13 k on making a mr2 into a farrari haha any way thats what they use on them but obv the front ones will be bout 10cm not 14cm i had one in my works and all they do is bolt them on and then put a rubber lid between the wheels and the spacer so u carnt see throu the wheel haha even the front brake calipers have plastic covers on them saying brembo

sorry for going on but i mean who would do this

Yeah on the back they would work. disregarding the exra wear on stuff.

Also, with the extra leverage the suspension is going to be softer and bottom out easyer. Although this blokes on juice.

you now i hadn't even thought of it that way, if you look at this pic underneath and imagine the steering wheel is turned to the left and it has the spacer on...

he's going to have to cut a chunk out of the door to get any kind of lock on it
