I can see some red Was it a full respray in and out??

well at that price u dont expect him to dip it in paint :p its been done in and out , there's few minor places where the pain didnt reach properly which he's gonna finish it once i go to cornwall end of sept , but generally he's done a pretty clean job , anyway gotta fix the USUAL elec window problem , i got ful elec window regulator passenger side , and i will get the grooved break discs and some quality pads for next service , coilies are on the way too , i will keep u guys updated about The Black

not feeling the tints...just dont look right with only half the car done...i know thats only what the law allows...

every time i see dark tints i always assume its because the people in the back have a face like a bag of smashed crabs.

but each to their own...

still think the stealthiness looks mega

I love black cars with tints and black wheels. Don't debadge tho its looks mean enough as it is with a black badge, in fact, get some red on the insides of the badge (if you get what i mean?) seen as tho this cars a black and red theme?!!

Lowered a touch too, but not too much, not a fan of stupidly low cars.

yeah agreed with u on all what u mentionned , i wont lower it much , living In London and being not a fan of too lowered cars plus the roads in this place are like a bump in every 3yards not worth the back breaking experience ,i will try and put some red on the insides of the badge and see how it looks ,

got a question guys , i was told leathers from a 3doors mk3 golf will fit in a mk4 polo , the front ones fitted perfectly but rear one me think needs modifying since its slightly bigger than the polo's ,

can anyone help

Don't quote me, but i was looking into doing this the other day and found out it is something to do with two brackets that stick out too much but can be easly shaven off. Someone claimed to have do the seat transplant in just 20mins on another post i read.

and then yeah i know the car looks shite with those orange indicators I'm just waiting to grab a set of black angel eyes headlight on the cheap in ebay ,or may be spray the inside black as i've seen some guy doing it on some thread

got a debadged grill , primered it , and painted it matte black to match the car colour i know the pics arent great, i wil try and take better ones ,

still waiting for my FK silverline (thats how i think they're callled :p) coilies , got black front indicators too still waiting for them to be delivered

nice one mate , at first my plan was to doit all black but then spoke to a friend who rewired the rear lights for me he said he reckons it looks better as it is the red and the black looks cool in contrast , anyway i bought black front indicators and I'm gonna smoke my front headlights andsee how it looks , cheers

cheeky ! hahahaah , well , point taken , no seriosuly man i said clearly german STYLE plates , the pressed ones , they do look good on moded cars tho , fook it I'm gonna go 4 normal ones without the GB thing

Looking good. Still think you should have gone with the black badge and red insides though, Theres not enough red on there to make the wheels look good. I'd either lose the red altogether or add some more small little details.

agreed dazzy , i personnally didnt like the debadged grille the car looked a bit funny , but then i bought it already , anyway i will do the red inside badge and see how it'll look , I've been quoted 1800£ everywhere i went in london , but done it for 650£ by a friend of mine in cornwall (there was few bad dents on it )

since i wasnt entirely satisfied with the debadged grill , i got myself a better one , KAMEI mesh grill much better looking

got some cool bonnet extension for a meaner look

, LED tailights (mk5's)

FK black front indicators

and finally FK silverline coilovers will follow this saturday , i will keep u's updated

some of the old parts off my car are going to be recyled onto this motor, think its gonna look mad, keep up the good work saif

yup dazzy u know u'r always the first one to be updated about *the black* i'll get all the stufff put on over the week end and will send some piccys

fitted the front black indicators , and a trial of the Led smoked tailights , which one is best the red mk5 tailight or the Led one ?

if i'll be fitting the dark ones i will have to lose the red on the rims

few updates :

got number plate today , i didnt plan to put the vw badge on them but the guy who done them decided to put it on them for some reason (he might be a vdub fan) :p ,good thing he didnt forget The Black writing

after sanding down the primer i applied the finish paint , matte black of course :)

i will be fitting it tomorrow , along with the grill which i will be painting the surrounding part red , 6n2 gti style

btw thats how the car looks after fitting the led tailights , and the front dark indicators
