Loving the new photos, I'd agree to do the top of the grill too, it currently just looks like it's got an an evil red smile going on. The other comments about the wheels are slightly true, but it's not a biggie at all.

saw this car parked down the london auto spares road just off the a40 today, looked really nice man, paint job wasnt patchy at all which is what you usually see with matt cars, and the lowerage has made all the difference

oh yeah been to the scrappy to return the window regulator (the pain) back to them as it was a faulty one (as u would expect of a vw window regulator)

Looks nice, good job on the paint work

Only things am not so keen on are the hubs and calipers painted red, and wheels (although i know your changing them)

yeah mate , i was seriously considering an all black look , i will hopefuly tomorrow get front and rear lights smoked and see how it goes , i will probably lose the red colour almost everywhere , except the gril , any suggestions folks ?

lol ooh so that must've been you at the reception desk with the regulator, i was standing behind you for a while with a rear light bulb holder asking how much it is, got fed up of waiting an just walked out with it

i think if your gonna have the mk5 lights tho i would keep them red :-) go with the theme of the car, i like the look of the badboy bonnet as i have one myself but not when its just the extention thing needs to be welded in and painted cos other wise looks abit cheap if you get me? coming along nicely tho fella!

yeah I'm thinking of bringing back the red mk5 tailights , i will try them on and post some pics , yep i get what u mean regardeing the bonnet extension m8 makes sense , cant be bothered with it tbh i'll put it on ebay as i like as it is just need to paint the top part of the grill and smoke the front headlights
