'86 mk2 Jetta, only 31k from new. £1200ono, may p/x

Featured Replies

Here we have my mk2 Jetta, with just under 31,000 genuine miles. The car has had one previous lady owner from new ('86) until 2009. It drives brilliantly, everything feels like new. It is totally standard and original, right down to the VW mats, dealer plates and sticker in the back window, and the unused spare wheel and tool kit. It has the 1595cc engine, and 4+E gearbox. I could almost describe this car as immaculate, the condition of it is exceptional - there are a couple of small scratches on the passenger side, and a small scuff on the plastic of the wheelarch, but they are minor imperfections and they don't detract from the overall appearance of the car. As you can see from the photos (hopefully), it polishes up beautifully. The body is completely straight, literally not a dent or dink anywhere, and absolutely no rust. The interior looks like it was fitted yesterday, completely unmarked seats. The only thing letting it down, in my opinion, is the old steel wheels it sits on - they have gone rusty in places, and someone has tried to handpaint them with silver hammerite. It is currently SORN'd, and the MOT runs until 30th January 2010, however if it goes for the asking price I will put a fresh 12 months MOT on it, as it should fly through. PM me or e-mail me at batmanccfc AT yahoo.co.uk for any further details/photos, or you're welcome to call me on 07783061325. Viewing can be arranged anytime, as long as I have some notice.

I'm in Nuneaton, Warwickshire (near Coventry). I'm looking for £1200 ono, but open to offers and/or part exchange, try me!
