ok, I've been searching the forum and haven't found anything that can help me yet.

I'm thinking of an engine conversion for my 8v 1.4 6n2 and i recon it will be an easy swap for a gti engine out of a 6n2. I'm just wondering how easy it will be? how long it will take?, (as a plan on doing most of the work myself with a friend) and what parts of the gti will i need? engine, gearbox etc...

If there is anyone that has done it b4 that you can point me towards to ask questions that would be most appriciated.

or if there is an online diy guide that i've missed could you show me please.
