1996 mk4 Polo 1.4 8v (aex)

Dragon Green, 179k, Electric nothing (except mirrors) 4 months MOT, 2 Months Tax.

Daily driver for the past 3 years, very reliable, very cheap to run (I'm getting 55mpg)

Used as my London to Newport M4 runner for the past year hence the high mileage, but well maintained. Spotless, clean and dry arches, sills and strut mounts.

In the past 10k it's had:

Brake overhaul - Discs, drums, pads, calipers, fluid change (OEM or Febi)

Head gasket - Cam belt, waterpump, tensioners (OEM or Febi)

Coolant system - Stat, flanges and pipes

Exhaust - Full standard system (Bosal)

Throttle body - Cleaned and serviced

PCV - Cleaned and serviced

Plus the usual regular oil changes

Passed the last 3 MOT's without any problems.

Bad points:

Starter motor is dodgy

Rust spots on both doors

Bonnet scratches

Grill surround dent

General front end paint is heavily stone chipped

Seats are stained ( with what tho ??? - Gaz)(Jizz?)

Wheels need another lick of paint
