yeah I've heard you have to run those subs on half power for 1000 miles first....

you dont HAVE to run subs in. its poo.

BUT, the coils WILL get looser over time and strech making the excursion greater..

so to an extent you do run them in..

but could also run them in hard and it would just happen quicker?

i have always run them in FAIRLY nicely :p

and never had a quiet system yet lol

That's the only reqason i've resisted putting my old Orion system in my polo :( I've even taken out the 10" Pioneer SPL sub i had in it.
