not got a great deal done this week, picked up the engine today and fitted a refurbed rear axle with poly bushes, gotta get the anti roll bar off my old axle and clean up paint and fit to the next axle, i've got poly bushes for that as well.

photo of the axle as it's the only photographic evidence i have of any progress lol

yeah there good little engines and i know my way around them quite well now. No point in putting any thing fast in because its not gonna have the handling to do it justice. I can get what i need from this engine and i'l be running two cars and starting another project soon hopefully so it should help keep running costs down a bit, win win lol

spent most of today trying to get motivated so by the time i did get off my arse i didn't have a great deal of time to work on it. managed to get a bit of welding done though, hopefully i can get motivated earlier tomorrow

if i haven't got that inner wing sorted by the end of the weekend i'm gonna be pissed with myself tbh

yeah that inner wing is done and the worst part of the slam panel, still got to tidy the inner wing in the engine bay side but that can wait until i've gotten the rest of the welding out the way.

body wise just sort out the rust, change colour and add a few little finishing touches, just wanna keep it simple and a little old skool. I've got 2 colours in mind, first is black with red detailing and second is the pretty rare dark green that the mk3 polo came in with black detailing (this is the one i favor most tbh)

I've always like Jade Green for Mk1 Roccos though
