if any one could help me find the paint code for that green i would love them forever

it rained all day satarday so i went out and played on my new toy instead of doing any thing on this but had the whole of sunny sunday to play with the hydraulics. so far i've got all 4 rams fitted and i've stripped out most of the interior so i can run the pipes through.

looking at this i'm gonna have to some how loose about 2 and a half to 3 inch's off the engine to give me some clearance on the sump

gonna try shaving some off the sump and if i still need more i'll be looking in to lifting the engine a little, either that or fit some thing like a mk4 16v polo lump if i can find one cheap

tony, if i'm honest it could do with another inch maybe inch and and a half on the, but the only way i can see of doing that is by cutting the mounting braket off and moving it up the ram. Although couldn't that worp the ram? Other than that i'm stumpted lol.

last update on this for a while i think, i made a bit of a fuck up on it at the weekend and it's just put a big cloud over the whole thing. no matter how much time i put into i never seem to get any where and i just don't have the time atm to be spending every weekend on this. it's being put in a garage and i'l do bit of work here and there till it's some where near ready and i can make it the car that it should be rather than rushing it.

i've found some thing cheap and fun that i won't give a shit about to fit the hydro's to tho to get some use out of them, i think the new tool will suit the hydro's just right and it don't need much doing to it so no long drew out time scale before i get to enjoy it

tbh it's going to work out better for the rocco, i can take my time with it and it won't have half of the chassis scrapped off it

the new plaything isn't a rocco mate, hopefully get some photo's of it later and i'll start a little thread about it. can't wait to get my grubby little mits on it
