Modifying your instrument cluster (the Blue Peter way) + custom clocks

Featured Replies

Hate to be a pain but can someone email me the clock setup for a 6n 98plate with rev counter ready to be printed straight off after a few mods: matthewneal01@hotmail.co.uk

If someone does this for me il love you long time :unibrow:

I posted a copy the other day, but as I said in that post, the 98 clocks are backlit and the original layout is a semi transparent plastic, so if you put a paper copy in place it will not light up the numbers. If you have a look in the Electrical section, there's a post about "Correct LED's" http://www.clubpolo.co.uk/forum/index.php?...p;#entry2282272 today I posted a link to some different backlighting for the 98 clocks

Nope. I love my retro green glow. Green wide angle LED's via the original green filter.

My clock is green too but I reversed it to have black backgrounds and clear numbers.

Am i right in thinking you can keep the original clock but change the colour of them? or would i need to use a template? (i have a 6n 99-01 with the fuel + temp in the middle and green dials)

Use the template provided and just lay it over the original clocks.
