No place there for Portsmouth!

good times! :D

^^ Much to my amazment... the amount of burnt out cars you see up on portsdown hill and over the back of the hill..

where is portsmouth overall?

Oh no, there's no AB53

Its weird that the M4 area of manchester is there. i Used to live on ancoats for a short while and never had any trouble with my car. The worst place has gotta be salford, there used to be a group email going round the office every other day saying a car has been done in, they got my JL W3 and my my 600 Watt MTX Monoblock!!! WOUUUUUUNDED!!!!!

G67 in't one of them  if fact none of them are in Scotland.

Scotland FTW!

Where's Liverpool?!

Just noticed that's the top 20 not top 10 :D

Not that it matters!

Wells next the sea in Norfuck?! You've gotta be kidding me haha that place is tiny/dead!

Theyve gotta have something to keep them entertained. Theres only so many times you can sleep with your sister/brother!

I'm only within 9 miles of IG and RM postcodes although most E's ain't an issue locally. I still forefeit paying a hefty premium. Most modified car insurers who give discounts don't touch any E, IG, RM postcodes unless you have the car garaged or parked off road.

The nearest of any of those is sixty miles away :)

I've lived in IG3. RM6 and M20, all in that list or very close.

I've had two incidents with my car, once when the car was parked at my old uni halls, nicked my brand new stereo and nicked my amp removing it with my own fecking screwdriver, and then a month later when i was baltic i realised that the cnuts had nicked my winter jacket. fuckbeans!

and once in rusholme the mini had its mirror kicked off but that was probably just pissed students.

basically, wherever your car is parked there is potential for damage to be caused to it or for someone to nick something or nick the car, i would say that nearly all of the incidents caused to people on this forum have been opportunist crimes, and not pre-meditated, but everyone should be wary of where you park, put valuables out of display or even better take them out of the car, and if you dont have an immobiliser, just whip off a HT lead and take it with you. worst they can do it smash a window, kick a few bits in or set fire to it, but at least they dont get off with it!

Who compiled this list? Seems bunk if you ask me.

Where's Liverpool?!

In Manchester,i think.

leeds and bradford are bad for car crime... if we go back into the 90's

i recon that scotthall was one of the worse places for crime.. in the uk

taken from Wiki

"The cul-de-sac Scott Hall Square suffered increasing levels of burglary and other crimes from the mid-90s. The situation eventually became so severe that the city council decided to purchase and demolish all houses in the street."

I'm surprised bradford didnt dominate the top half of the list to be honest. proper doss hole.

be interesting to see how they compiled this list.....no salford, no liverpool, minor leeds, no birmingham....seems a bit off, must have been between certain dates cause i cant believe that

hahaha, wouldnt suprise me if it was both.

Notice that newport is there too.

Though SA1 6JZ (Town Hill, Swansea) would have been there too...

haha yeah i know what u mean mate!!!

I'm actually gobsmacked that notts aint mentioned once!
