1.4 16V Engine

Firstly, Cash wating, I want this engine no later than Monday 26 October. Preferably I want to fit it Thursday 22nd October.

I'm getting a V reg 1.4 16v Polo 6n later and I'm trying to work out if it's better to break it or get another lump for it as it's current one was doing 115mph down the M5, started rattling then blew up, so taking into account pub bullshit factor I'd say it starved of oil and stopped!

So, if you have a cheap engine then let me know. By cheap bear in mind that I've currently got 9 quotes off breakers with min. 3 month warranties and prices from £200 delivered-£600 for a fully reconditioned 12month/12k mile warranty.

So realistically £250 tops delivered or must be within say 50 miles of Pershore, Worcestershire (www.maps.google.co.uk if you want to know where it is!

I'm also interested in buying other cheap cars etc that need similar things done like this so I can make a quick buck to help fund my upcoming caddy G40 (whenever I save enough for it!).
