Managed a few things this last weekend, fitted some 8khids and bright White led sidelights. Looks so much better now.

I've also ran some 2awg into the boot for when I eventually get a sub.

Will post up pics soon.

Very nice car :-D it used to be local to me, saw it at Tesco's once 8-)

I have a pic of it when it was on 15s, ta-da-

thats real smart pal!

That looks lovely... I prefer GTI's with the bumpstrips... never thought i'd say that!

Dare I say that I think 14's are too small??? Don't get me wrong it looks a lovely car but I think 15's are the smallest you can go on a 6n2 IMO... I like it on the Ronal LS's too.

Few updates:

lupo gti aero wiper arms and blades.

195/45/14 tyres for the rear 9j steffans! :D sitting lovely

will update some pics soon enough

this is a nice example..... and its good to see the previous owner looked after it too... look forward to the updates of whats left of them

I've got these fitted too. Did you go for a pair of passenger-side arms and blades? They can be a bit of fun to get fitted and working without clipping the A pillar but once set up they're pretty good, and look lots better than the retro-fit blades :)

Top marks ! love the colour and your cleaning seshions sound mental!! (and expensive lol)

yeah, pair of passenger arms i got mate. i've slightly bent (professionally ajusted) the drivers side one, because it was fouling the scuttle panel.

look soo much better. they proper tuck away under the bonnet.

also to say I've managed to get a puncture and took a while deciding on what tyres to use. so i've been rocking around with 8j stefans on the front and standard valver alloys on the rear. LOOKS SHOCKING! If i said it had nose down arse up it would be an understatement. haha.

then to make things better..... one of my rear coilover shocks managed to die driving over a pothole! so have had to use the standard height rear suspension for a couple of weeks untill my new coilover arrives. :(

Once i get it back on coilovers.... The car shall be going much lower. inspite of scraping the floor everywhere allready and the antiroll bar having a fit.

Not much luck to say the least. OH, and also somehow got a tiny hole in my sump.

cheers for the comments people. much appreciated
