Wow loving the Beetle brings back memories of my ex boyfriends '72 bug!

Love the bug modder plan but your orange beetle looks so great standard! Just gutted its not a few yrs earlier making it tax exempt hey!

Haha cheeers! I know it's kind of lame still having to pay the tax, but £120 a year is worth it for the grin factor alone :-D

Have decided it is definately coming back on the road by the summer! Needs a new driveshaft oil seal as that's been pissing onto the brakes, bit of welding on the exhaust (tail pipe fell off) and it will hopefully fly through el-MOT.

I know it looks pretty cool standard, but I think beetles just have that kind of charm about them anyway. Especially when most of them about these days have been modded in some way, an original one is kind of fresh. But then again, looking at your ex's - they are awesome lowered toooo! Looks really cool btw 8-) did you ever get to drive it?

Yeh I got to drive it I was on the insurance, being a girl I made it cheaper!! Used to scare me driving it though as while you're in the car you cant see the front wings very well!! Also after driving my sky high polo I often forgot about how low the bug was thus hitting it on speed bumps / reversing it in places and hitting kerbs! Didnt do the parking bit very often though lucky for me!

£120 a yr isnt the end of the world though is it really and I know what you mean about the wow factor! But theres nothing like walking in the post office with all the documents and walking with a free tax disc!
