Everyone else who is on the road the same time as me!

I hate almost everyone that drives on the road...because I believe these days no one can actually drive.

I say this because I highly believe my style of driving is correct whereas everyone else on the road seems to disagree apart from a few friends.

For example:

In 30mph zones I stick religiously to 30mph...this seems to annoy everyone who is tailgating behind me, but as soon as a roundabout or corner comes...I'll continue doing 30mph round that and everyone behind me backs off, why?

Still in 30 zones...if I see a national speed sign approach, I'll often select 2nd gear, as I come level with the sign I'll accelerate to a speed that I want to travel at.

This process looses all the tailgaters but finds me on the tails of those who did not do 30mph through the town or city we were just in. These said people are now doing 45mph on a supposed 60mph road. So I'll adopt the overtaking position behind them and select 3rd gear and wait for a suitable gap in oncoming traffic to pass them.

When a gap appears I'll pass them as quickly as my car will accelerate and carry on on my journey.

But this has often seen me get signs displayed to me from the cars drivers or headlights flashed at me, why?

They are doing 45mph in a 60mph zone...I want to do 60...ish. In my eyes thats better driving than the 40 in a 30 they were doing previously.

Anyway I travel along say a 4 mile stretch of national road and I come to a town again...I'll slow down to 30mph BEFORE the signs (some people don't seem to grasp the concept of doing 30mph as you pass the sign) and travel through the town at 30mph. About 2-3 minutes in this town I'll find I'm being tailgated by a car I overtook in the national zone as they have stuck at 45mph until they have got to me.

These kinds of drivers I encounter everyday I drive my car, and I fucking hate them all!!!

yeh mate i agree, i think some people slow down for corners even if they are going the correct speed for the type of corner because they dont look at their speedo and have no idea of what speed their are going and dont know how to turn a wheel. its the same idoits that drive down a road with their lights off , everyone flashing them and the still have no idea their lights are off. i must look at my clocks every few seconds . 80% of people have got no idea how to drive eg if you go on the m25 there will be no traffic but you have to brake and slow down all the time because cant maintain a constentent speed. most of the time when there is traffic it is for no reson other than people cant drive. i think if you did your driving test over 20 years ago you should have to take a retest and learn how to drive in this day and age, the roads where alot diffrent 20 years ago than now. i hate getting in the car with my grandad, it is so scary and erratic.

Strange person in Ford Focus who, when driving at night, steps on their brakes every time another car comes the other way. Nice wide roads too, proper A roads. I'm stuck behind this idiot who's doing 45 in a national speed limit and all I see is their brake lights coming on every-single-time a car comes the other way.

This happened to me the other night, I was driving home at about 2 or 3 in the morning, and i was behind a little Pug 1006 (I think) It was doing about 20MPH all the way along a 30, the we got a roundabout where you could see if anything is coming, nevermind since it was dark you would see the lights, it stamped on the brakes and come to a stop, then drove away.

Well I'm 17 so not 17 year olds :)

I say Big Van drivers who see your learning soo pull out thinking they have right of way!,

Oh and people in 4x4 who are scared to move over on county lanes and get there tyres muddy, I found just siting still and waitsing is fun to watch there mouth swear at me, Plus my driving instructor laughs with mee :)

Van drivers.

Women drivers in 4x4 - on two occasions my vehicle has been smashed into when parked due to this problem and they both blamed there kids. (They both had parking sensors too)

And then there's those tools who enter a roundabout in the outside lane and then when exiting decide there going to cut you up and come into the inside lane; which is where you are.

Or those drivers who roll forwards at lights while there on red to the extent in which they are now completally over the line by half a mile...

Or those who set off from traffic lights ever so so so carefully and slowly, then change in the 2nd gear and put there foot down, before putting it into 3rd gear and then accelerating slowly again.

Why?

Just accelerate smoothly in all the gears please.

Anyone picking up kids from a private school, alas BMW X5s, Audi Q7s, Chrysler Voyagers etc etc. Just because you have a nice brand new people hauler doesn't give you permission to just block the street with your shit driving

What I hate most is people who think they know how to drive quickly, but all they end up doing is terrifying anybody who goes out with them for a drive.

The best one i had was when i was in my old 1.0L polo with a full car of people, then to young lads in a r32 pull up next to me, look at me as if I'm gonna try and race them, then just belt it off. pointless much?

heres a rant at the BM drivers.

I'm driving down a single lane in a high street and this BMW 3 series comes racing up to me, thinking he's mister big or w.e.

when the lanes split into 2 i indicate to go into the other lane and before i know it he pulls out without any indication and i have to swerve back into lane where he ends up a car ahead at the traffic lights.

so i sit there behind this guy and in the back window is one of those plate things that says "baby on board!"

only an idiot would drive recklessly when they have childeren.

then again, anyone who drives recklessly and carlessly is an idiot

LORRY DRIVERS who over take other LORRY DRIVERS 1mph faster !!!, I hate doing 57mph in a 70

Car conked out on the right hand lane of a dual carriageway in a queue of cars at peak time, so its just a slow moving sea of cars (you know the thing). Nice man tries to push me across to the left but retards just keep on blocking me, like the flashing hazards and guy pushing a 20 year old car AREN'T INDICATION ENOUGH that I just MIGHT be having problems.

Also people who inexplicably sit in laybys, those parking spots alongside A roads. What are they doing there all the time? They are ALWAYS full as you get to or go away from a motorway junction, just lorrys or cars with people in them sitting there doing nothing at all hours. Why?

i was driving home from a kart meeting last night, down some totally empty lanes i was shifting a bit, not stupid but not hangin around. next min a 3 series is on my arse so i didnt really let it bother me, jus carried on going fairly fast.

got onto the motorway and he just flew off must have been going 110+

about 15 mins later on the dual carriageway i saw him in the hard shoulder with an unmarked police car behind him with all its lights on haha!

BMW drivers are a menace on the road. Me and the other half were taking a drive to the coast one day. Got a knob in a 3 series right on mytail. I couldnt go any faster as there was a car infront of me and i couldnt move due to traffic so i kept blipping my brake pedal to make him back off (flashbacks of being ran into again caused me to do it!).

When i finally let him by, he was quite quick with the hand gestures so i introduced him to my 19 year old 1.3 engine. He kept stamping on the brakes trying to make me hit him. straight bit of road towards hunstanton and i let him have it - never saw him again as he disappeared in my rear view mirror OWNED!

Old people who when you flash your lights at them to let them out of a junction or whatever just stare at you like you're trying to speak Chinese to them or something

Grannies in 4x4. One of them backed out of the driveway opposite my house and put a nice dent in my Mk3... On the amusing side though, her bumper was covered in white paint yet my Polo had no green from her 4x4... build quality ftw.
