 Shattered a dream now  I always thought yours was an original :-p

I thought I knew the ERP from somewhere

Went to town on the conversion though! Bee-sting aerial and everything  Is it central though? ;)

The first car I owned (I bought as knackered mk3 b4 this, which got scrapped).

I went to do the head gasket and got a bit carried away, that was about 3-4 years ago. She leaves the confines of my parents garage today and moves to my unit.. so the work can continue (hopefully).

every true dubber starts with a bready.

True!

Picture114.jpg

@ Neil, did you buy your breadvan around March 2007? I swear I saw it advertised on ebay around that time. Up near Brum? My flashbulb memory is kicking in now!

nah mate my mum owned it before me, then i had it, Sold it to some kid. Who later sold it on a few months later. As he couldnt rat it!

The kid i sold it to lowered it and it had a bra on. Would be around march 2007 mind!

My first car, Astra 1.7td which I thought was a nice big engine to start with at 17 lol. Was a cracking car tbf :) Would have liked to have done more to it!

I love these threads... i think there should be a car history thread!

My first car was a S1 106 1.4 8v XSI... 105bhp in less than a tonne... was a lot of fun! Only pics i got of it were the pics used by the guy who was selling it... the lexus lights went! It ended up with head work and a cam and about 120bhp. I loved it and miss it so much!!!

Yep, perfectly. I didn't do the drilling but we measured the roof about five times to make totally sure

cheers cutmore :) its actually a renault colour, at the time is was there newest colour for there sports range but it hadnt been seen/used yet as the swatch i was choosing from had just literally come out and renault had just sent it to the bodyshop so i was like "yep ill take that one!" and when i saw it for the 1st time when it came out of the bodyshop i was soo happy with it.. looks quality in the sunshine :) 8-)

I know.

I regret it at times. But it really was a big mess, ideally it needed a re-shell. Which at 16 wasn't happening haha.

yeah true, its just soo much effort re-shelling tbh sometimes, considering what it is, if it was like a cooper s or summat then its worth doing but for your norm run of the mill mini it just aint worth it is it. i had a 1275gt clubby the same, i ended up scrapping that aswell, i cut it up myself which even though i hadnt spent much time on it, it still pained me to do it :( but needs must and all that.. was waay to far gone aswell tbh, would have cost £800 in panels!! :-(
