Mk4 to Mk5 Dash Change Problems

right I've just bought a polo and it has had the dash out of a mk5 put in! however the mk5 clocks arnt wired up and it doesn't have the heaters and i was just wondering if anyone had done this conversion and wondered if the Mk5 heaters could be wired up to a mk4 loom and same with clocks? i presume clocks will just be snip existin wires and chock block new connector on but does anyone know if this works? is easy? all dials on clocks work etc?
