1986 HONDA CR

Featured Replies

Right , got this recently with the idea in mind to get back out on bikes, situations have changed and i regretably have to sell it on....

bear in mind the price is realy realy rough, so make offers!! i wont be offended.

The spec is as follows

*1986 honda cr, i belive they can take either 125 or 250 engines.

*great tyres

FRONT = Kenda 3.0 - 21

REAR = Motorock 4.25/4.0 - 18

* front wheel = DID 1.60x21

*red polisport shock boots (still very rubbery)

* Pro ciruit racing expansion pipe!!! been told these are great on cr's but having never riden one i dont know... and from what i can understand these retail at quite a bit

*Renthal rear sprocket

*renthal bars (need shimming to prevent slipping)

The bike is missing the following parts

*ENGINE

*BRAKES

*SILENCER

*REAR AXLE

*REAR SHOCK

*AND SOME SMALL BITS AND PIECES

all very cheaply available at bike breakers and ebay...

would make a great project with a 250 motor it would go realy realy well...

the 125 is also reputably quick either way, great project.....

If theres anything I've missed out please tell me.... its also only mocked up for the photos to give you an idea of whats there...

in the last few pics theres a load of 83 YZ125 parts ill throw in to the buyer if they want them.... may come in handy or sell off some bits???

i just need it gone... :(
