is it possible to take the drivebelt off the alternator

start the car and run it for 5 mins to see if the clickings there....you can run for abit without the belt connected

i still think its the suppresser you need.

I'll buy the surpressor tomorrow Neil and get it connected up.

I still don't know how it could be coming through the tweeters though, with the sound quality being excellent still.

It doesn't get louder as you turn the volume up it's just there in the background.

it's just easy to go to them, they're not overpriced either.

a click is definately interference, it's just strange it's come from nowhere.

what about just unplugging the one tweeter?

Just recieved my new HID ballast through the post today.

Something I have noticed. My old ballasts were 55W, the new ones are 35W which is the more common value.

So it seems that the others were taking much more power?
