windscreen chip

hay all, i an't been a member long but i though id post this in the members section. anyhow had a chip on my windscreen been meaning it fixed. i saw a autoglass tent at my supermarket and asked, seems without glass cover a small chip on my gti will cost £90! he also said a screen would cost £150. he refused to do the work due to the high price BUT told me a website of a chap (who use to work for autoglass) whos based in birmingham. he come over to me today and fixed the chip for £20! even clead my window after! just thought i'd share this info as not everyone has glass cover. www.yourglassrepaired.com
