They go faster if you control the rev with your hand on the actual motor, rather than the foot pedal, bypass' the restrictor spring that way whoo hoo

First I've heard of this idea.

Two sides to this are jumping out at me. One is that once its no longer the only show exclusive to Polos,the floodgates are pushed by Fox/Ibiza owners etc etc and its destined to be open for any Volkswagen and just become another VAG show.

On the flip side,the latest Polos are so removed from the original,they share absolutely nothing with the original,and so some models dont appeal to drivers of some other models anyway (I'm pretty sure the average rear-drive Escort enthusiast doesn't care too much for a '98 Escort LX 1.8 diesel, and would rather see Capris turn up than fwd Escorts). So with a '70s Golf being far more similar to a '70s Polo than the latest Polo is,having Lupos there too shouldn't bring any unwelcome difference.

As long as the Polo show doesn't start loosing Polo owners due to it no longer being exclusive for them,i can see it being a good move.
