Doors

Featured Replies

Going to resurrect the bready. I need the front doors basically. I would prefer them to be the correct colour but not essential, as long as they are rust free. I can take them complete or bare shells whichever is best. I am going to try a couple of the local scrappy's round about but normally cars round here are crushed rather than broken.

As for the colour, it's that dark blue non metallic. I'll post up the code tomorrow sometime.

Oh yeah and I'm up in the North East of scotland in case anyone asks.

Cheers

Jon

Polio, I can get them couriered with special deal through another club I'm in. More details please? Rust free, complete or bare shells, free or for a good price (that's good for me by the way) Pictures if poss

The old engine and box are doing just great, that's the main reason for bringing her back to life. The young lad used her for work, but needed something bigger as the work (and ladders) expanded. She was just left beside his garage as an extra store. I couldn't have that after all the work that was done. Now I can afford to I am going to bring her back to a reasonable standard, hence the requirement for doors. If the above dont pan out then you can expect a PM from me. Trouble is, I'm not back in the UK till late Jan/early Feb. As above pics woud be good

Cheers chaps

Just to bring this back to the top and see if there is anything else out there, I'm still on the lookout for those doors.

I guess it was so close to Xmas that it was forgotten about during the festivities!!!!!

Anyhoo, I'm due back in Scotland on the 2nd for a course and a week at the lads place, hopefully during that time (as long as it's not too cold) I want to be getting on with this...Soooo what about the doors

Polio, you mentioned the Maritime Blue ones???

GenesisGT Aye man, like I said if the above does not work out, I may well be coming over to collect those black doors. I know you siad no glass, but do they still have cards and the rubber etc or are they bare door shells?

Thanks gents

Back up to the top, still on the lookout for maritime blue doors for the bready.

It's possible I can get them picked up from just about anywhere in the country.

Don't let my location put you off, the doors are required in Scotland.

Anyone.....anywhere?

got a set of mk2 doors (pretty sure mk2/3 are the same) in matt black ratttle can. Doors are straight and rust free. Can come with glass if needed (no wing mirrors tho)

£15 each. Can get pics after the weekend if you like

Yep pics would be good, still hoping for maritime blue tho.......anyone

glass and fittings not required, will be swapping everything over!

Jon

on closer examination, these doors are in surprisingly good nick - shame about the rattle can job but if you need to change the colour anyway...

Look good, beter than one's I've got anyway. Yep I'll take them.

Paypal OK for you or would you prefer cash or bank transfer.

Paypal easiest for me, bank transfer next easiest

cheque would take aaaaaaaaaaaaaages (a long time) as it would be written here in Angola, wait for the next helicopter to take the mail bag into town, sent from there to UK.

Once bought would you be able to store them for a while until I can arrange transport or would you prefer them gone soon?

Cheers

Jon

paypal's fine as long as you either pay the extra % they'll rape me for "paypal tax" or send it as a gift/personal payment owed.

PMed you my paypal address.

otherwise bank transfer is fine too.

a cheque - what's one of those..?! ;)

the doors are in my mate's mam's garage so they can stay there as long as she doesn't get pissed off. she's cool tho so a few more weeks shouldn't be a prob.

where abouts in scotland are you wanting them to end up?

Just outside Forfar so not too far a distance.

I have contacts from another forum I'm a member of

We all utilise each other as we drive around the country

picking up and dropping off stuff for each other.

Unfortunately, due to my job and living location I can't

really help them out that way...work offshore in Angola

and live in Spain, best of both worlds really!

Anyhoo, at some point someone will be able to

pick up the doors and get them up to Scotland.

Paypal coming your way
