How low is your daily driver picture thread . . . .

Featured Replies

Easy,

I thought I'd see if I cuold get this going as reading posts and that on here every now and again I'm hearing loads of people saying ' I'd love my car lower but I can't due to where I live '. Obviously I can appreciate this if you are genuine but from my experience most people are refering to speed bumps etc, so hopefully we can get some pics up to show you can do slammed every day!!!!

I drive a 6n down 110mm on 8x13's every day, and let me tell you the speed bumps in my work car park are vicious!!! (the yellow and black ones), I'll try and get a pic of mine up soon but I can't seem to upload onto here and don't yet have a photobucket account.

Cheers guys looking forward to seeing your cars!!!

The Hamptons . . . NN1 massive.

I'm gonna sound like an old man here, but I am an old man, so I don't care.

My daily (the Passat) is down 30mm, and that's as far as it'll ever go.

Low cars are great at shows and meets, or for bragging rights on forums. But, realistically, on a day to day basis it's a cockache when you're unable to carry passengers and can't get over speedbumps. I've been there, done that, bought the t-shirt, and still have the Polo for dragging over bumps.

But I want my daily driver to be a load lugger, reliable, cheap and easy to run. For the 99.999% of times I'm not at a show or taking pics to put up on a forum, it's the best way to roll IMHO. Give it a few years and you'll end up thinking the same thing...

Someone had to say it :p

Used to rock about in this at this height for a year and a bit, and the speed bumps around my estate are king of all speed bumps :lol: a few people on here will back me up on that
