rear as low as it can go - front needs arches rolled and chassis notched before i can squeeze a few more mm out of it.

best bit is i can go 5's up and i've had 6 x 18" wheels with tyres in the back and i only get the very occasional rub, i can get over 99% of speed bumps without a problem, the only ones are the speed cusions that i can't drive straight over.

Standard height, may not be scene, but it's certainly handy when the access road to the unit's under a foot of water

I ride alll the way down. I've never raised it apart from MOT time.

i only raised it by 10mm you big gay. driveshaft still knocks over the smallest of bumps :(

Speedbumps are nothing, the front of the car goes up and over, then the rear. The only thing you'll catch are the bits right inbetween your wheels.

You try getting into carparks with these:

Or over severely arched roads - then its all about the bits in between your wheels like on these pics - wishbone and ARB mounts, exhausts, etc

I work for agency, so i never know where I'm going to be turning up to work. Now my car isnt particularly low. 60mm drop on 15" rims, a good couple inches gap between the sills and the ground.

I have no problem with speedbumps, but arched roads and those parking poles cause me to ground the front end all the time!

Just drove straight into the feckin thing! Bent it up onto my gearbox and exhaust, felt every engine vibration through the steering. And it was a nightmare to get off once id done that!

I cant believe most of these are daily drivers. Its only a daily if you rely on it to get you to work. Either you all work in some very cushty industrial estates or they're just not dailys!

mine's a daily and a workhorse, had 4 sets of 18's in the boot, a gearbox, welders, toolbox, bumpers etc etc just have to drive cautiously and some creative use of drop curbs.

No it isn't, it's a daily if it's driven daily as your only car!

it might not look that low , but the sump is just over an inch away from the floor , and the floor at the back , fuel tank etc is within an inch of the floor , speed bumps are a nightmare - i do about 1300 miles a week so theres no telling wether ile have to go over speed bumps or not so cant avoid them .....

its been that low for 3 weeks , and I've been through 4 fuel lines so far cant wait for the front to go lower to get rid of that reverse rake though !

Lol I don't even have any jacking points left on my sills they've all being bent inwards!

Umm uncle terry hope that's not your car and I hate to point out the schoolboy error but the brace bar should go over the exhaust not under.

not my daliy anymore but was for a few months til i sold it but this is how low it sat when i had my mk1 fez

21inches arch edge to floor on 16s....need to ideally crack 20 up front

i'm 19.5

It was lower than this but I had to raise it up yesterday about 5mm as it was eating away at my arch liners...I have 15's on it at the moment though...

Its worst with long cars to. Speed bumps become impossible. The Lupo was fine cause it was so short but when I had the Volvo it was a nightmare. I actually got stuck a few times and had whore people into pushing it off

eh ? i didnt say my subframe was close to the floor , but a splitter/bodykit doesnt really count "imo" usually on something like 17's and big splitters so the cars not actually close to the floor its just bits of rubber or fiberglass !

and i live in Norfolk , i was in luton for a few days last week but thats it :)

long wheel base cars are the worst yeah , i got stuck on one of them yellow and black speed humps the other day , took 3 people on each side of the car to lift it to get it off
