i bought some gti wheels a few weeks ago an split the first one the other day i have started the refurb but I'm woundering how tight do the bolts need to be when i put them back in?

an how long does it usually take to polish the rims I've had a go with 800 and 1200 and it barely makes a difference ??

is there anything to make it easier??
