Just one out in the sticks near me - I was determined i wasnt spending more than a fiver, i happened to have £7.93 in my wallet. Conversation went:

"How much for this?"

"Dunno, tenner?"

"I haven't got a tenner"

"Fine, give me £2.90 "

how about a mk2 golf full bbs zender kit for 40 quid ? mk1 kit for 50 , any body panels are 20 quid , wings boots , doors , bonnets etc , pays to know an old fella out in the styx who owns his own scrap yard :)

when i crashed i got the bonnet,lights,indys,gril,bumper,slam panel,lower valance bit and wing for 90 quid everything was in mint condition!just an array of colours haha

picked up a golf mk2 rear plastic arch for a fiver.

Found a mk1 seat ibiza and had a look round it. They use a similar afm to a polo gt and also come with an oem adapter for a cone filter. Cost £2

Got a 106d rad fan + housing + wiring for my polo for £10

i go same as olly. tryin to think what we have got in the past, headlights, grills, 6n2 rear lights, 2x laguna splitters, and many many more. all in my toolbox :grin: i think my 6n2 set i paid £10 for one and other was in the box. sorted! haha

mk5 lights and mk5 gear knob.:) and was trying to get the cupholder till i snapped it......damdamdam wanted it so badly aswell:(

everyeone seems to be having amazing luck, whereas I've never really found anything :(

full polo valver for £100 robbed the bumpers , lights , seats , and everything else off it and made more than double that back

15 quid a bumper for my 16v bumpers times like them were i actually like scrap yards haha

i got front and rear mk2 golf small bumpers with chrome strips and a cl splitter for £25. 320mm steering wheel for £5. Full mint red checkered mk2 interior for £10! PLus a load of stuff that has accidently fell in my tool box....
