Thats the only pic i have of mine, completely standard but cleaned and a white rocker cover. Going to spray my exhaust cover white when i can get it off as well.

no closer pics at all?

mines white aswell, was thinking about spraying my rocker cover white and i did my exhaust heatshield but sanded it back down

this is my old engine bay and also what I'm about to do with my new one with a few extras ;D

Nah, will get a better pic tomorrow. I started to polish my rocker but then decided to spray it white and I like it, different from the polished ones everyone has.

Used one of those mouse sander things first to get the worst of it off then just went through different grades of wet 'n dry sand paper. Then just masked up and sprayed the black bits, also quickly went over the edges where I sprayed so it was a better finish.

Bought the 4-branch from someone off here, was a Raceland one.

uuh, excellent. Just as I was thinking what to do with my rocker cover. My ideas are either matt black to match the rest of the plastic, silver to match the rest of the car or something else that's tasty.

@deviance

do you have any pics of the engine bay in daylight and without the plastic cover? That'd really rock.

I do, not the best picture, and the engine bay isn't dirty anymore!

That's just what I want, heh. I figure I'd do the exhaust cover too, along with the dizzy shield. Bits and bobs really.

My old 1 litre bay...

thats clean. :thumbsup:

I'm not going to embarrass myself with mine

do you get a good gain in power with a induction kit?

or bike carbs? are 8valves worth modifying much?

I would paint my manifold heat sheild, but the bottom bolt is seized solid, and I rounded it off trying to undo it. Will have to get the manifold off the car at somepoint and give it a lick of VHT and paint the sheild to smarten it up abit.

Yeah... done it at my work... along with the heatshield! :-)

Unless the surface area of the "induction" air filter is bigger than a standard filter its almost a complete waste of time performance wise, it will just make the car a bit noisier :lol:
