I don't like 8s on the front. Stick out too far imo and don't let you drop it as much.

Saying that I like tuck up front, poke at the rear and nose down stance so that's just my opinion.

Whats with people saying 9j is too much for daily use? how do you drive?

8j et15 at the front with 195/45 fit perfectly, you can run TA Technix coilies all the way down with no issues..

9j et20 at the rear with 195/45 fit fine, you dont need archs rolled, or pulled, just tweak the coilies up 10mm or so to stop rubbing.

It would help if people spoke from experience instead of just hearsay....

matee this looks epic

My mate runs his arso with the wheels i have posted 9J on the back everyday but he had to putmore bump stops so that he could go low enough without rubbing other wise the back end sat very high while the front was low.

It also rides very hard as he doesnt have much travel left any more haha

Personally i think 9's at the back are fine but i suppose it depends what look your going for. Most of the Lupos i know run 9's at the back on 195/45's fine. Would love some for my polo but I'm having no luck in finding sets of 8's and 9's :(

The guy that bought my 8's and 9's put them up for sale on here a few weeks ago if you can find the thread

May have got hold of some 14 by 9's et10 for the back :D

I think you might struggle to get et10's under standard arches, camber shims required :p

yerr 9s with et20 are fine without arch work

if you was to get the arches rolled & pulled along with some 195/45s you would have no issues what so ever

i ran 14x8 et 15 borbets, & my good mate sam owned that red valver on steffans posted in here, and after looking at smithys at gti spring fest we both agreed 8s looked crap compared to 9s, they sit so well

so if youve got a chance to get 9s at the rear in the et20 version, do it otherwise you will regret it

i looked on dubmeister and they were like £500 but then i went on the german ebay and theres a fair few on there for like £250 - £300 so thats the place to go :-D

£500.. each or for a set??

I think I paid just under £700 for 2 8J's and 2 9J's delivered..
