Agreed - the blue RS2000 is identical to my cousins car and his dad has a MK1 lotus Cortina identical to the one in the pic. Both dream cars. My dad had a red MG Maestro in 1985 (twin 40'd 1600 with voice and digi dash),itself very cool when he had it. Lots of great cars.

In the 70s he had a Hillman Imp and with its race tuned tiny rear-engine that's gotta be my guilty one..

Guilty pleasure indicates that you like something that you know is wrong but you can't help it - eg, that Rover (MG, whatever). And to a certain extent, a 30 year old Fiesta. Theres nothing wrong with liking a Shelby etc.

Come on people, show us some stuff you're genuinely guilty of liking when you shouldn't really be. Cars that you'd love to own but friends and family would disown you (eg, that Rover )!

Had one of these a few years back and still miss it, the best car I`ve ever owned.

I dont have any pleasures that I am guilty about. The only ones I might be able to post are the Maistro turbo/metro turbo, but to be fair if I got one then my mates would all think it was the coolest thing since sliced bread anyway. Maybe a Montego turbo? dont see them anymore!

There must be someone on here who wants one of the really embarassing cars.... MX5 or a Wide boy Vitara or somthing.

If I'm honest the closest I could get to a guilty pleasure was my MK3 polo, I suppose that was reviewed a bit badly by my mates because it wasnt as cool as their Minis/106 rallyes/205's/mk3 escorts etc.

I suppose a deep love of mk3-5 transit vans is the thing I get ribbed about most, but I'm certainly not guilty. I would happily donate my testicles to a meat grinder for a transit county...

i came so close to buying one of these 'with a difference' the other day, but it would of meant selling the scirocco and as cool as this car was i have a lot tied up in the rocco. this is the one i nearly bought

one day i will look back on this decision and want to kick my own head in

as for guilty pleasures, for me it's pretty much any cool car from 70's-80's or even just any well modded retro car from the same kind of time. stuff like these, first 2 are just cool any way and the 3rd has been made cool

and one car i will own one day, maybe when i get bored of the scirocco
