not been doing alot lately really, got my glove box catch from mintwithahole thanks bud :-D

finished smoothing and primed the bonnet

painted my side exit and polished the tip (need to buff off the overspray)

wired in an alarm to a relay that i hooked up to the door solonoid so when you press the alarm the door pops open

and welded out the drivers handle ready for smoothing

also i had a parcel waiting for me when i got home

it was my smooth lupo rear bumper

so i had to trial fit it with a rear light to get the feel for it

unfortunately how things stand at the moment project budget box may have to find a new owner. plans at the mo are to finish the smoothing, prime it up, buy a new tyre and whack a fresh MOT on it then sell it.

it'll be a shame to see it go but i need to free up some cash for the Bora. :(

we'll see what happens over the next week or so - if anyone wants to tempt me with any real offers feel free - worst i can say is no!

haha - the reason i want to sell up so quick is i've had my eye on some new rims for the bora for a while, they're £2600 without tyres! a mint set have just come up for sale for £1750 with tyres so i'm selling some bits off to try and raise the cash as it'll save me over a grand if i can buy them rather than £2600 + plus tyres for a new set.

haha, have a browse on wheel supplier for a set of 4 8.5j x 18 that cost 2600 without rubbers - cant say anymore than that.... :-D

yea but with all this ££ i'm throwing at it i may (cringe at saying this) use it for special events only.

You do it a point like. I'm getting like that with my Lupo cause I've spent that much time and money on it I couldn't bare someone accidentally opening there door on it or scuffing it when they are parking. Cheap beater for kicking about in an nice car for cruising around in when you feel like bigging yourself up

yea i wasn't bothered for using it as a daily beater until i added the receipts up! plus the added 5k+ on bits i want to do this year think i'd be heartbroken if it got damaged plus i'd like to keep the miles down.
