I'm waiting to see if you knock a few hundred off.

Very nice wheels here.

These wheels should've gone by now!

what difference does it make if a wheel is designed to look like a split rim or not? at the end of the day indy got his for a bargain price, that doesn't mean that every other set that comes up for sale is now only worth that, besides iirc indy's were battered when he got them, that's probably why they were so cheap.

and where are these wheel that need a refurb? they look fine to me. 500 was over the top but i'd say they are at a much more realistic value now, i've seen these wheels in this condition sell for 400 on the caddy forum and as they say some thing is worth what some one is willing to pay so these must be worth it.

if some one wants a fucked set of cults for 135 i've got a set they can have, if you want a set that isn't going to cost you a couple of hundred to get looking respectable then you will probably have to pay a premium. if you don't like the price then don't pay it, simple as.

EDIT: just saw that AlexG40 has just sold a set of these without tire's for 400, why don't you go and tell him his fake splits ain't worth that

As far as I'm concerned, if a wheel isn't mint, it needs a refurb - these aren't mint. (pitting + scrubbing on the lip.) Splits, as a rule, cost more and so if they were real splits maybe the price tag would be more justified. Yes you're right to a point, something is worth what people are willing to pay for it, but if someone pays over the odds, the item is still only worth what everyone else is willing to pay.

The price is fair!

These wheels are rare becoming more and more scarce and have been out of production for months.

You can't even buy caps from RSL or anywhere now, so the fact that these wheels come with them is a real bonus.

Mine were cheap as they had no rubber, no caps, no rivets and one of them was in a very bad way, as if it had collided into a kerb.

Just let the guy sell them. No one would ever sell anything if your going to compare to how much other people paid for similar items.

like i said, go tell AlexG40 that the wheels he has just sold were over priced. cults are a sort after wheel, the fact that they are designed to look like splits means jack shit. just look at modern lines, they are not splits and they sell for more than these.

i really don't see how you have come to the conclusion that these are over priced, it's like me posting in a thread for bbs splits for sale for like 600 (or what ever they usually sell for) and saying they are over priced and in need of a refurb because they are not mint

try and find another set of these for sale in this condition with usable tires on for this price...

RSL Cults were just over £1000 on Dubmeister when they sold them.................................

those wheels don't need a refurb, lips are not cerbed... anyway you see pics..... i can make some better pics of 'overpriced rims' if needed. anyway i'm pissed of selling this set to be honest. so

350 anyone?

I sold mine with no tyres for £400 with another 2 offers for the same in the bag if that sale had fallen through. They were in better nick and were a straight fit with a VW so seeing as though these have tyres the price seems ok.
