Neil's 6n2 Gti now in black

Featured Replies

Model: Polo 6n2 Gti

Engine:1.6 16v 125bhp fully standard

Suspension: Standard Gti spec (for now)

Brakes: EBC rear pads, Standard fronts.

Wheels and Tyres: Reconditioned BBS RXii with 2k silver, then holographic prism flake in the lacquer

Exterior Styling: Smoothed bumpers, colour coded front splitter, smoothed boot, crystal indicators and repeaters.

Interior Styling:

ICE and Security: Parrot hands free kit, Sony explode head unit, vibe CBR 12" Sub

Comments: I bought the car with 33,000 miles on the clock about 8 months ago; it had been serviced every 3,000 miles. One worth keeping I think!!

The car has just had a full respray (from silver to black) at Hexham Motor Bodies, with the glass removed, and all the panels taken off and stripped.

On the to do list is coilovers, 16" wheels and leather interior, but it will need to stay as it is for a little while.

When it was at the bodyshop

post-26065-1265916222_thumb.jpg

very nice! really want the same sort of body work doing on mine, looks the business

As I said on CWC, get yourself over to UK-Polos.

Bodywork looks spot on, not a fan of the wheels though. Think you should've polished the lip, but that's just my opinion.

Seen this on CWC, once again nice car dude :-)

i think this project is going to be something special. already looks very tidy and thats without a serious drop!

good stuff so far..maybe smooth the handle on the boot as well if your going for the smooth look?

keep us updated

Thanks for the comments. Hope i dont have any expensive breakages, so the mods can keep on comming.

btw i wouldn't recommend 16s, had sum on mine for a while was a bit to much imo, but each to his own.

if you are after a leather interior keep an eye out for mine, depending on whether i get the retrim I'm after :D
