if your doing it to your car, how can it be 'self' harming?

it would be nice to see people starting to incorperating different styles into their cars like a pick and mix methord of styling taking only the bits you like. Why just pigeon hole yourself into one 'style' and restrict what you can do when you have a blank canvas and a whole world of influence in front of you?

Personally I'm hoping for the 'ooooh my car can turn into a big skullfucking robot' look to be big this year.

i dont perticulary think that a look gets "played out" at all, its just that people decide to say that because its not an underground thing anymore, i for one love the euro look on any car, therefore i'll continue to style my cars in that way until i find another style i like. at the end of the day i dont do it to look cool, i do so that i love how my car looks when styled in that way.

most of the guys that say that are narrow minded in a way that they have to be part of the "in" scene at that time rather than actually liking the look of their cars.

I'm sure the 1st person to style there car in a way was chuffed when everyone decided to copy them because of how good it looked!

Also i wonder how many times a thread like this will pop up and cause me to act inteligent

Edition38 hasn't declared the Euro look completely out of fashion yet.

You can put some US or JDM parts on your VW but it's best to check with someone higher than you in the scene.

Thinking of the mini scene now, when i got the polo and came into the VW 'scene' i thought it was amazing because of how different it was compared to the same old same old in the mini scene. Now i realise that the VW scene is worse than the mini scene.

I reckon all 'scenes' are the same though tbh.

There are always wannabes trying to be cool. And there are always people trying to be different by not being different.

The ford guys have it right, fuck looks just make it go quicker.

The thing with the Ford boys is that the ones who care about looks are really really seriously anal. Like the underside of the car has to be perfect, even if somethings not totally fucked it has to be stripped down, cleaned and put back together. So they can be super anal when they want to be. But then again part of there scene is to just fuck everything and make it go faster.

Venoms do seem to be getting more expensive though if you want them in 4x100. You can get them for free practically in 4x108 but the scene tax seems to be working its way into the 4x100 ones. TSW Imolas is where its at. Mmmm, Imolas. Hard to find though. I want some.
