polo g40 1308cc bottom end

lightened and balanced all recently rebuilt but after 1500 miles i checked and it was low on compression so i stripped the engine and found a little det on the head

the bottom end looks fine but could do with having the bores rehorned as this was not done when it was rebuilt and i have a sneaky feeling the bores were glazed causing loss of compression

they are karl schmit 1308cc pistons
