cordoba one wasnt a straight fit as the boot is more curved compared to the polo..but could easily be adapted i should think

went to see if my wheels were done............they were...:)...AND COVERED IN RED OVER SPRAY.....yeah good one...you can have those rite back..i didnt even accept them..so back to picking them up saturday..haha

arch rolling didnt quite go to plan hahhaah...

lips are now completely rolled over just the paint cracked and flaked of and the arches kinked abit...so I'm gna get the filler out for a light skim and put some paint on the top then have it sprayed aswell as the front arches as there silver..:(

today i spent the afternoon on the saloon....OHH MYY..<3

i took the one tyre and one rim to ahve a tyre fitted then set about adjusting coilovers and figuring out what size spacers would be needed..

first of all i put the rim on and looked pants...i baught two 10mm spacers and put both on to make 20mm..bit better but still not enuff so found a couple of 5mm spacers and stuck them on to to make one 30mm spacer...then it was sitting perfectly flush with the arch..though I'm gna be running 35mm each side..hah

next i started adjusting the coilovers..dropped it down abit and still looked wack...so dropped it to the bottom of the thread 120mm and just wasnt enuff...not one to quit...off came the shock out came the helper springs and chop chop the bumpstops..put it back together and adujsted it correctly....WOOOW..may go down more though if i dont have any scrubbing issues..

next was arch work..i traveled down south thursday evening and rolled the lips rite over flush...but it all kinked abit...so added a few skimms of filler and baught some body seam sealant and sealed up the arches and stonechipped them..and did lots of sanding..one arch is now complete and the other is work in progress...but once thats done i have to decided if i go for a full respray or just rear arches and wings...but the bonnet and bumper are stonechiped to flip..

but anyways il stick some pics up later.....i think you may all approve

He'll on earth knows how i'm gna drive it... May just have to buy replacement sumps and keep em handy haha..it's so bloody low now.. A good 30mm lower than on the schmidts and both the rims were 16's lmao

started on the front now have one wing on sprayed matt black it's allowed so much more clearance..

Helper springs and bumpstops in half and I may get close to how I want it sitting..:/.. If not I may have to run some poke just to fill the arches...or no camber up front.

Think I'm gna get the whole car resprayed too as the rear quaters and wings need doing aswell as the bonnet and bumper as there stone chipped and one side were I removed the bump strips took some paint off aswell as the polo badge on the boot...

I think smoothed plate recess on the front and badge deleted on the rear and washer just and aerial deleted aswell...will keep it black but not sure if I want to keep it this black may just go for a deep normal black and match it to the rims.

Hahaha you never stop do you, lol i tried the cut bumpstops and helpers but mine just kept bottoming out all the time undrivable if youve got some cheapo ones!
