i converted my last polo to a GTi so think i still had them seat belt rails out of the GTi :)

so the car went into the body shop today.... within an hour and a half she looked like this:

i was also to mark out any dents etc:

the last pic there isnt actully that much rust but I'm really anal about my cars lol spesh if its gettin fully sprayed :)

scored some new tyres for the g60's today to... as the fronts are passed legal now lol so got some toyo t1r's for £50 with 10 miles on them

fitted FK Konigsports today at the body shop, thet have a great set up like, softest is nearly like std car suspension and stiffest its all just tyre flex

abit of a body shop update :) ETA 2 weeks to go:

Boot lid, smoothed and primerd...

Ariel hole, smoothed and primerd...

Jacking points, smoothed and primerd...

Joins under rear lights, smoothed and primed...

Both sides of the car at this stage...

Car and tail gate will be sprayed this week, possibley some other bits to! good stuff hes really busy the now tiz why the cars taking a wee while but its looking to be worth it

Do you know how they smoothed the joins under the lights ? if they just put filler over it it will crack mate , iv done on my green one and after 3 days it cracked so i decide to weld them together

there just filled dude but I've already said to them if it cracks i will be back and want them seam welded :-)

ah ok my bad dude sorry for having a wee snap there :) but haha thats true! not many polos up here that have nearly as much work done as what i just got... well in fife anyways! haha

well basiclly as u can tell by the title I'm going for a murder theme but added my own to that with the bloody so the themes black and red! but with the under side of the car i just wanted it to be totally differnt since u cant see it unless its on the MOT ramp of you are workins on it :) so the full under side subframe, rear beam etc will be that colour should be pretty cool :grin:

and some other wee odds and sods i cant remember right now!

car is looking barry right now tho i seriously cant wait for next week to come i miss the car so much!

which are getting attacked today and tomorrow :) very happy man!

excuase the massive wheel on the passenger side in the first pic, had to take the g60 away to get a new tyre put in it

one of the finest 6n's I've ever seen and an even better collection of wheels
