I'm quite a new driver as I only passed early on in the month, but since I have been driving my 9n3, the brakes or tyres really dont seem that good.

I am going to see my mechanic this coming week, but when discussing with friends they have told me that "some cars are just like this"

When I turn into junctions I have to slow down quite abit to make sure the car doesnt skid off, and in the rain yesterday when I had to do a slight "sudden" break the car felt as if it wasnt going to stop in time! Maybe a fault with the ABS?

Or do Polos just require some more braking distance?
