I'd go for 16", best size if you go all the way down on your coilovers and take the adjusters out at the back.

i have high hopes for her

shortly i will be ordering:

- AP coilovers

- Black Lenso's either 15'' or 16'' (give me your opinion)

- Badgeless grill

- I'm going to smooth the back round

- and i wanting spacers on the back to give it that euro look.

i would like some feedback on anything you think would look nice and a bit different.

why not just get staggered wheels (i.e. wider at the back)

hate the fact that "the euro look" is thrown around so much nower days!

flushed back will look nice, maybe even smoothing number plate recess or shortening, aint seen that yet!

not the badgeless grill though, you loose the badge and the car has no soul! just spray it black!

if you could wait go for genuine BBS's instead of lenso's. and if you cant wait i think silver lenso's would look better than black ones

just a bit of advise, if your doing it your self, make sure u dont just filler the lot in (someone down my area done that and now that its cracking all over the boot and bumper it looks aweful!)

well if you cant find stagered then spacers will work, just buy wheels first and have them on the car for a while, plus lowering could push them out a lil bit so once you've settled that then decide how wide you want the rims to go out further.

would show my car, but i've just got a run around for the moment till i can get some money for a lupo gti, just a polo gti but smaller and quicker (smaller car means easier parking! :))

what adjusters are the on the back?

They're like threaded adjuster cups that the spring sits in, to adjust height.

well gotta wait for money and 21 (damn insurance companies see 20 years old, live in london, "GTI" in the name and thats its "16V" and tell me to go F**K myself basically)

welding should be easy, if it was me i'd find a scrappys, buy a boot and bumper, do all the work in doors then just transfer and sell the old stuff or keep incase of sale!

should look good once your done, wouldnt mind seeing some pics, or might see you around seen as I'm about 15 min drive from hertfordshire border (A10 near cineworld!)

small world, well in that case, you ever need a hand with the car give us a PM (just noticing your new to here ish), my car aint anything special but a mechanic for VW group by trade, so when your working on them all day, you start to lack time for your own, bit upsetting!

when and if you get those lights or decide to change to anything else, and your havin trouble or anything, I'm up for helping a fellow VDUBer, but only if your not turkish, a chav or have stupid long hair! Or say things like "BLUD" lol
