fitting new headlight motors on 6n2 polo gti

Featured Replies

hi guys, car failed mot, beams too low and cant adjust, went to vw today to see if they could adjust but they said that the headlight motors needed changing, have ordered parts,i can fit the parts myself and they will adjust for free, if they fit it will be 2 hours labour at £100 + vat per hour, having never done this job before wondered if anyone else has and how easy would it be to get inside the lights and change the motors once i get the lights out, or is it better to just get them to do but is expensive. any advice given i will be very grateful, i have already got the link to taking the lights out (bit of a job on its own ) cheers scott
