Bits and pieces from VW Polo Mk2 Country

Featured Replies

Sadly, my 1990 VW Polo Country has gone to the great A road in the sky following catastrophic engine failure.

The car is now in Ripleys breakers yard, Diplocks Way, Hailsham (Nr Eastbourne), just off the A22. It had only done 40,000 miles and had a new exhaust fitted a few weeks ago, and a brand spanky new front bumper a month ago, so if you want any bits go to the yard and get them!!!

If anyone is interested I have:

1 set of two rubber front floor mats with VW emblem that I think were dealer accessories. (They came with the car when I bought it 6 years ago, and since it was an elderely lady who owned the car before me I guess they were with the car when it was new).

The radio blanking plate.

The grey folder that contains the handbook and service book.

Finally, and most rare I guess, the adaptor issued by VW to allow you to fill the car with that new fangled unleaded petrol from pumps where the nozzles hadnt been adapted to the narrower bore yet. Its still in the green VW wallet with its instructions.

Any offers for these items - would prefer to sell as a whole and post to buyer, or buyer can collect from Hastings, East Sussex.
